| 14/10/27 PESHAWAR – At least twenty five terrorists have been killed and 10 others injured in fresh military airstrikes in North Waziristan tribal region.
Pakistan Airforce Jets (PAF) pounded militant hideouts in Madakhel village in Dattakhel area, 45km away from Miranshah.
Pak Army has been fighting an offensive against the Taliban insurgency in the remote, largely lawless region of North Waziristan on the Afghanistan border since June. The military says more than 1200 militants have been killed while 86 soldiers have embraced martyrdom during the ongoing offensive.
OPERATION KHYBER ONE
On the other hand, nine security personnel sustained injuries when a roadside blast hit their vehicle in Bajaur Agency.
The offensive, code-named Khyber One, was launched in the Khyber region last week to target militants, who have fled North Waziristan military operation.
